During Diwali, I spotted this Khatta Meetha Namkeen on sale for just $0.99 outside Patidar in North Brunswick, NJ. The price was great, and the packaging looked appealing. Since I enjoy sweet and spicy mixes, I decided to give this new brand a try.

I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The texture was crisp, and the spice blend was well-balanced. The resealable zip lock on the bag was a nice touch, too—it actually worked well to keep it fresh. What stood out to me even more was that the Namkeen wasn’t greasy, nor did it leave crumbs everywhere. Unlike some other brands, I could easily snack on it in the car or at home without dealing with oily stains or crumbs all over.
