I was in search of coriander powder and decided to stop by my local Desi grocery store. Assuming all powders are essentially the same, I usually opt for the more affordable option. However, out of curiosity, I took a closer look at the powders and noticed variations in their fineness. To my surprise, when I examined the nutrition labels, each brand displayed different values for calories, sugar, carbs, etc.
As depicted in the attached photo of the nutrition label, Namaste Gujarat coriander powder had 15 calories per serving, compared to Delight brand coriander powder which had 22 calories. Additionally, the carb content was lower in the Namaste Gujarat brand. Another noteworthy observation was that Namaste Gujarat brand contained vitamin C, calcium, and iron, while Delight brand had none.
I will update this review with my thoughts on the taste and quality of the coriander powder, as well as insights into other brands in the future.
We would love to hear your comments or suggestions please leave them below.
Thanks
