Dr. McGillicuddy's Website says:Natural honey flavor blended with whiskey results in a smooth, easy to drink spirit that is not too sweet, full bodied, and satisfying.
While at my local liquor shop, I noticed a small bottle of Dr. McGillicuddy's Honey Whiskey at the counter. Intrigued, I decided to give it a try, given my appreciation for Jack Daniel's Honey Whiskey and Jim Beam Honey Whiskey, and assumed it would be similar. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. Even after trying it both straight and mixed following the recommendations on the Dr. McGillicuddy's website, it tasted like medicine, and the aftertaste was quite unpleasant. Fortunately, I purchased the small size, so it didn't burn a hole in my pocket. I wouldn't consider buying this again.
