From package: Tata tea with elaichi essence is a unique blend of tea leaves. It has 15% long leaf.When we release tea in boiling water it give aroma. Tatatea- elaichi is a perfect tea for family.

Nutrition Label states: 98.6% Tea leaves with 1.4?rdamom Flavor with added Cardamom flavor. For sugar, calories and carbs it showed 0.

Review:

My local indian grocery store started carrying these and being a chai lover I wanted to try it out. I love the fact that it mixed with Elaichi. Saves me the work adding it.

I must say the chai was really good. The color, flavor and fragrance were great and will be trying their masala chai flavor soon. I even tried using sugar alternatives like Honey and Jaggery and it came out great. I now prefer Honey over sugar. It may be a good idea to shack the bag before opening to mix the chai leaves and Elaichi.
